I actually do feel pretty bad for this guy - the accident wasn't his fault at all and the other driver who caused it must be some kind of idiot. But his reaction got kind of a chuckle out of me. If you listen to this on mute first, and then with sound the second time, the whole video changes. Based on the description of the vid, the driver who caused the accident took off without stopping.

Semi should not have been passing and car video guy seemed to be going pretty fast for the conditions

Not sure how you can say the accident wasn't the driver's fault. Both contributed, but the not-semi was clearly going too fast for the conditions and/or didn't brake when he saw oncoming traffic in his lane.

The way he yelled was pretty hilarious. messed up, incredibly messed up, but hilarious.

It was entirely the semi's fault. There was no where else for the guy to go other than the front end of an oncoming semi. possibly his life or damage his car, always damage the car.

I guess you're right that he was going too fast. I don't think there is a not-semi though. I think that dash cam is in a semi.

Exactly, too fast or not this was caused buy the semi trying to pass the plow

Oh, right. I thought it was a big truck, but not a semi. I'm used to cab-over designs, so the bonnet threw me off.

Would have helped if he had his "wake up and pay attention" alarm set for more than 200 feet in front of him.

Yep, frankly his speed is irrelevant.

That Semi could've been trying to pass for a variety of reasons, maybe the plow stalled or stopped. The dash cam vehicle is going really fast and it's clear even at the start of the video that those are HEADLIGHTS up ahead, he should've been going slower and should've slowed down sooner.

I think he was freaking out so bad because he was afraid of breaking through the guard rail and tumbling down that very steep slope.

There is a plume of snow being tossed over the other side of the barrier by that plow. No way it was stalled.

I now have great respect for the effectiveness of guardrails.
